1. Teaching hours

As a part-time teacher for IGS, the teacher is expected to

• Provide sufficient teaching hours (2 hours per lesson) for Elementary and Middle School classes;
• Prepare simplified lesson plans before every lesson;
• Be willing to substitute when required;
• Each class has at least 6 hours per semester of tutoring;
• Summarize class on ECO after every class within 24 hours;
• Comment on students’ performance once per month.

2. Non-teaching hours

• Participate in training courses when required;
• Support offline events at least 4 hours/ semester;
• Attend parent - teacher conference.

• Rate: 400k – 500k/hour;
• 100% online teaching; co-teaching with US-certified teachers from Ivy Global School;
• Six months minimum contract;
• Opportunity to teach English Language Arts and/or Science and Math through the United States CCSS and NGSS aligned curriculum.

• Bachelor’s Degree (Education major is preferable);
• A teaching certificate (TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, DELTA) is preferred;
• IELTS 7.0 and above;
• At least 1 year of experience in teaching English Language Art, Math & Science in English;
• Knowledge of teaching methodologies and principles, and methods for curriculum and training design;
• Communication and presentation skills;
• Multitasking, working under high pressure, organization;
• Highly committed to the school, and the teacher’s role.
